Snow day one and snow day 2-- REALLY!!!!

Yepper~ 2 more snow days to make up. Can't wait to see which Spring Break days we lose or if Saturday school is the route they are going! I am very close to writing a letter to the editor and to the school board regarding snow days!! If you are from the north and moved south,(NC)where it snows at least one time during the winter since we have been here-you would get frustrated with the snow day as well. What I don't understand about todays snow day, is that we do have limited bus routes for inclement weather-why were they not is place for today?????? When you see todays pics you just might scratch your head and wonder the same thing as me... Snow day? For what?????

Not Much Going on Here...

OK I am sure you have noticed that once again I have become slack with my blog. However, I do not want to bore you! We really do not have much going on, which kinda doesn't go along with the title of my blog, ey? Although things are about to pick up!

We are getting over illnesses and soccer tryouts are almost complete. I just signed both boys up for rec. soccer at the local school. Yep, Ryan loves to play so much that he will do both! I decided to wait to let Madelyn play until the Fall season, just as school is starting. I don't think I have it in me to run 3 to rec. practices on different days throughout the week plus the running with the school soccer (hoping Ry makes the team).

We did buy a new vehicle,(Kia Sorenta-midnight blue),because the lease is up on my van. I totally went away from the van, yes even though I have 3 kids. I figured,
1. That more often than not it is just me and the kids b/c Scott is busy working or traveling and
2. I needed to be a little bit cooler than soccer mom driving a van.



Celebrated the "BIG 29" for the 6th year in a row, with Scott the kids and my dad, that was exciting!!

Getting ready to celebrate Ryan's #14 at the end of the month- he is growing so fast and next year he can get his permit!! I am not sure I am ready for that!

I think you just maybe caught up on this end, like I said boring and not much going on. So until next time......
