Weekly Wrap-Up

So as we end one week with a 7 on the "Hectic" 1-10 scale and gear up for the next. I figured it would be a good time for an update.

We started our week with a club soccer game about an hour away Tech Guy took all the kids b/c I had to do a PartyLite show for a group of funny ladies! I love doing shows for them! It is just a laugh fest! Anyways I made out good, #1 not so much. Another club loss to add to their season. #1 can hardly wait for this club soccer to be over so we can look into a new club.

Monday we had a rain out- YEAHHHH,no club soccer practice however it was time for my Tech Guy to go out of town for work! I love rainouts and hate when Tech Guy is gone b/c I am doing all the soccer mom running!- During rainouts I actually get other things done around the house, with the kids homework, errands etc...

Tuesday #1 had school soccer pratice until 5:30pm then home to get dinner out of the oven and get some more of the garage cleaned out b/c trash day was the next morning. I am really cleaning out the house and everything is just about GARBAGE!!

Wed. came, games started again. #1 had a school soccer game and we WON 6-0, YIPPEE, #1 had one assist in the game- a perfect pass! That was from 5-6pm then as that was over we headed to #1's club soccer practice that started at 6 and went until 7:50pm only b/c I went to the sideline and told #1 we had to go, (practice was suppose to end at 7:30pm)so he told coach he had to go so coach finally ended the practice. Here it was 10 minutes to 8pm and #1 had not even started homeowrk yet! It was a long evening!

Thursday everyone was off to school, daycare and work. I had a message when I got home that #1 wasn't in school~ What? I remember leaving him at the bus stop as I headed to work. So I searched the house, no backpack down stairs, no sneakers, no #1 in my house anywhere. PANIC mode set in. I HATE leaving #1 at the corner to wait on the bus when Tech GUy is out of town however I only leave him once kids show up so he has others to wait with. So I call school and get someone and question #1 being in school and she called one of #1's teachers that was thankfully still at school to see if #1 was at school, YES he was there ALL DAY!!! DAMN substitute marked him absent, b/c she waited to take attendance until 1st period began instead of in ventures(homeroom as some of us know it). See once in home room you stay there for first period, well #1 was moved to a faster paced English class for 1st period and he is the only one who leaves his homeroom to go to 1st period. So my worry of thinking something happened to #1 was over and shortly there after we were off to pick him up from school soccer practice at 5:30pm home by 6 and trying to get dinner done and homework done, baths and showers and off to bed.

Friday is our kick off to our next hectic week. I was at work and we had a Boosterthon FUN RUN at school, it was fun and all our kids had a great time while raising money for their school. However, the sun and heat is coming back and yes as always in the sun and heat what happens to me?????? I BURN! I wasn't even out there an hour and I was toasted,my face my arms and a spot on my neck/check where my shirt dipped. Typical! Tech guy was finally home and was home for #2 to get off the bus from school. #1 had another school soccer game - so after I was done with work, I picked #1 up from school and one of his teammates and then went and got #3 from daycare and off to another soccer game. This was a makeup game that was rescheduled twice. The end result AWESOME we WON 8-2!!! #1 had one assist and one goal!!!!! It is so nice to be on a winning team again!! Just before the game was over Tech Guy took #2 to his 2 HOUR soccer practice! After #1 was done we went over to the field and waited for #2 to be done- got home about 8:15 or so and finally could order some pizza and feed my STARVING children!

That leads us to today...#2 had a soccer game at 10 this morning and they lost=( 2-0it was their first game of the season. #1 has another soccer game (club) at 4pm however the rain just poured down =) and chances are we will be cancelled. The rest of our weekend... another soccer game tomorrow then again on Monday, Tues and Wed. Practices again on Thurday and Friday and 3 games next Saturday and 1 on Sunday. If we make it into finals on Sunday then we will have 2 or 3 games that day. So for those of who could not get ahold of me this past week don't try next week either- I will catch you when soccer is over for the season!

By the way I updated a few pictures of the kids with the help of my Tech Guy =)
