Punkin Patch-According to #3

So we finally went and got some punkin's, opps pumpkin's at Hodge's Dairy Farm ~ not too far from us. It was suppose to be a fun time for all however, I have this teenage, wanted to go but didn't want to go because football was on so I need to have a bad attitude all day, and ruin the fun for others, kid.

I must say this is the first and last time at the Farm though for the pumpkins were so high. The one we got should of been $15.00 however they let you price your own so Scott said $10 and they said ok plus the 3 little ones that were $3.00 a piece. I am the cheap one and said to my kids, ummm looking at the price guide they have set up, it looks like you can all get a pumpkin off the wagon and we will get one big family one. You know that wasn't good enough for my teenager-see description above. However I was not spending $25 a piece on pumpkins for 3 kids. I think my neighbor had the better idea with going to the grocery store and purchasing BIG pumpkins for for 3.99 each. Granted we got to have the experience with the teenager from you know where and it was a nice day out to go pumpkin hunting but cheaper the other way!!

I am not sure I need to say more just look at the pics!!

Here he is....

There he goes!!!!

This hurt him to stand with the rest-see by the facial expression-no smile, like OMG MOM!

Don't you just love that? I wonder if we treated our parents like that?!?

Toby & Lisa's son Austin calls them punkmans. Very cute when they say things like that!

I do not just love that!!! Ya' know, I am sure we treated our parents awful at times. However....I don't think I was that bad when my dad actually spent time with us- I think I appreciated the fact that he still knew we were around and took some time for us! I am hoping this is a SHORT lived stage, but I am sure the worst is yet to come!
As for #3 and what she says- I love it!!! One of my favorites that she says, "Can we ride on the alligator (elevator)"? I laugh every time and still encourage...sure we can ride the alligator!!

I love that (the alligator, not the grumpy teen)
