First day of school!!! #2 is out of the house first @7:10a.m. and he is actually smiling. 
#1 on the other hand leaves at 7:30a.m. and has no will to smile. 
#1 wouldn't even look back at me as it was time to go to the bus,as if I was punishing him by sending him to school, unlike #2, he was ready to go!

Now, Mom, you know it's not cool to look back and wave when you are a big kid! Chase left me today (1st day of middle school) with a quick "Bye Mom!" while I was trying not to cry and/or throw up because I was so nervous!!
I know, I know it is more for the humilitaion effect that I find funny right now, as does he. He does a 1/2 smile like saying, please don't. 12 and 13 so far are great ages!! I told you there is nothing to be nervous about, I bet he did GREAT today and your worries and simply because it is your 1st born growing up. For you know he is just fine =)
